Booking, Cancellation, Credits & Refund Policy
This Booking, Cancellation, Credits & Refund Policy (“Policy”) applies to coaching sessions, training programmes and related services supplied by Kings Club PTE. LTD. (“Kings Club”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
By making a booking, enrolling in a programme or making payment to Kings Club, the participant and/or the parent or guardian making the booking agrees to this Policy.
This Policy should be read together with any specific booking conditions communicated at the time of purchase.
1. BOOKINGS & PAYMENT
All coaching fees, programme fees and other applicable charges must be paid in advance unless otherwise agreed in writing by Kings Club.
A booking or programme place is not confirmed until the applicable payment has been received.
Bookings are made for the particular service, programme, training block or session selected and are subject to coach, programme and facility availability.
2. GENERAL REFUND POSITION
Except where expressly stated otherwise in this Policy, fees paid to Kings Club are non-refundable.
Where a session or service cannot be delivered as originally scheduled, Kings Club will, wherever reasonably possible, seek to resolve the matter by providing:
- a replacement or rescheduled session;
- a make-up session; or
- a Kings Club session or account credit.
Credits are the normal remedy in place of a cash refund.
A monetary refund will only be provided where Kings Club expressly agrees to one, where a suitable credit or replacement cannot reasonably be provided and Kings Club determines that a refund is appropriate, or where a refund is required by applicable law.
Nothing in this Policy is intended to exclude or restrict any consumer right which cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted under Singapore law.
3. PRIVATE COACHING – RESCHEDULING & CANCELLATION
This section applies to Kings Club 1:1 Coaching and Small Group Coaching bookings.
A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required where a participant wishes to cancel or reschedule a confirmed Private Coaching session.
Where at least 48 hours’ notice is provided, Kings Club will use reasonable efforts to reschedule the session, subject to coach and facility availability.
Where less than 48 hours’ notice is provided, Kings Club reserves the right to charge or retain between 50% and 100% of the total session fee, taking into account the amount of notice provided and the circumstances of the cancellation.
Where a participant fails to attend a confirmed booking without providing prior notice, Kings Club reserves the right to treat the session as completed and retain 100% of the session fee.
Any decision to waive or reduce a cancellation charge on a particular occasion is entirely at the discretion of Kings Club and does not create an entitlement to the same treatment for future bookings.
4. WEEKLY TRAINING – BLOCK BOOKINGS
Kings Club Weekly Training programmes are sold as block bookings and are non-refundable.
A participant’s place is reserved within the relevant programme or training group for the applicable block. Accordingly, no refund will be provided for sessions missed because of:
- holidays or travel;
- school or family commitments;
- clashes with other activities;
- changes in personal circumstances; or
- general non-attendance.
Missed sessions do not automatically create an entitlement to a make-up session or credit.
Where a participant is unable to attend because of genuine illness or injury, Kings Club may, at its sole discretion, offer one or more session credits where the absence is supported by a valid Medical Certificate (“MC”).
Any credit offered for illness or injury:
- will be considered on a case-by-case basis;
- is not guaranteed;
- does not constitute an entitlement to a refund;
- has no cash value; and
- remains subject to availability and any conditions attached to the credit by Kings Club.
The granting of a credit in one instance does not oblige Kings Club to grant a credit in another.
5. RAIN CHEQUE POLICY
Kings Club operates a Rain Cheque Policy where weather conditions prevent a scheduled training session from taking place.
Where a session is completely washed out and is unable to commence, Kings Club will issue a session credit for the affected session.
The credit may be redeemed against an available Kings Club make-up session, subject to programme, coaching and facility availability.
Rain cheque credits:
- have no cash value;
- cannot be exchanged for a monetary refund; and
- are subject to any validity period or booking conditions communicated by Kings Club.
The Rain Cheque Policy applies to sessions that are unable to commence. Where a session has already started before weather conditions interrupt or prevent its completion, Kings Club will determine whether any credit or alternative arrangement is appropriate having regard to the circumstances of that session.
6. FACILITY UNAVAILABILITY
Kings Club operates programmes at facilities provided by third-party facility partners.
Where a scheduled session cannot take place because a facility partner is unexpectedly unable to make the booked facility available, Kings Club will ordinarily provide the affected participant with:
- a replacement session;
- an alternative make-up session; or
- a session credit.
Such a credit will be provided in place of a monetary refund, except where Kings Club determines otherwise or where a refund is required by applicable law.
Kings Club will use reasonable efforts to provide an appropriate alternative but cannot guarantee the availability of a particular venue, date or time.
7. SESSIONS RESCHEDULED BY KINGS CLUB
Kings Club may occasionally need to cancel, postpone, relocate or reschedule a session because of circumstances including coach unavailability, facility issues, weather, safety considerations or other operational circumstances.
Where Kings Club cancels a session and no equivalent service has been provided, Kings Club will ordinarily offer a replacement session, make-up session or credit.
A change of coach, reasonable change of training location, or reasonable rescheduling of a session does not automatically give rise to an entitlement to a refund.
Where Kings Club is unable to provide the booked service or a reasonable replacement or credit, Kings Club may provide a refund for the affected service where appropriate.
8. PROGRAMME, COACH, VENUE & TIMETABLE AMENDMENTS
Kings Club reserves the right to make reasonable changes to:
- coaches;
- training groups;
- session times;
- programme schedules;
- training venues; and
- programme content,
where required for operational, coaching, safety or facility reasons.
Such reasonable changes do not constitute cancellation of the participant’s booking and do not automatically entitle the participant to a refund.
Where a material change means that Kings Club is unable to provide substantially the service purchased, Kings Club will seek to provide an appropriate alternative or credit.
9. PROMOTIONAL & DISCOUNTED BOOKINGS
Bookings made using a promotion, discount, special offer, complimentary credit or other specially priced arrangement are non-refundable unless expressly stated otherwise at the time of purchase.
Where a credit is issued in relation to a discounted booking, the value of that credit will not exceed the amount actually paid for the relevant service.
Promotional or complimentary credits have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash.
10. SESSION CREDITS
Unless expressly agreed otherwise by Kings Club, all credits issued under this Policy:
- are issued by Kings Club PTE. LTD.;
- have no cash value;
- cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash;
- cannot be used to demand a monetary refund;
- are subject to programme, coach and facility availability;
- may be subject to an expiry date or redemption period communicated when issued; and
- must be used in accordance with any other conditions notified by Kings Club.
The issue of a credit represents Kings Club’s provision of an alternative remedy in respect of the relevant affected session.
11. REFUNDS APPROVED IN EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES
Where Kings Club agrees to provide a monetary refund in exceptional circumstances, the refund will ordinarily be limited to the amount actually paid for the affected and unused service.
Kings Club is not required to refund:
- sessions or services already provided;
- sessions treated as attended or forfeited under this Policy;
- expired credits;
- promotional or complimentary credits; or
- any amount greater than the amount actually paid by the customer for the affected service.
Any discretionary refund or concession provided by Kings Club on one occasion does not create a precedent or contractual entitlement in respect of any future booking.
Where a refund is approved, it will normally be returned using the original payment method where reasonably practicable.
12. EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES
Kings Club recognises that exceptional circumstances can arise.
Kings Club may, at its discretion, depart from this Policy and offer a rescheduled session, credit, partial credit or other reasonable accommodation where it considers this appropriate.
Any such accommodation is a discretionary goodwill measure and does not amend this Policy or establish an entitlement for other participants or future circumstances.
13. CONTACT
Any request relating to a cancellation, rescheduling, illness, injury, credit or refund should be submitted to Kings Club through an official Kings Club communication channel.
Customers should provide sufficient information for Kings Club to identify the participant and relevant booking.
